Training Session for Energy Companies' Top Managers is Held in Moscow
Moscow, 18 March 2008. A training session "Current Issues
of the Electricity Reform and Development of the Unified Energy System" opened in
Moscow. Among the speakers will be the key managers of RAO "UES of Russia".
The training was organized by the Corporate Energy University and
Academy of the Academy of National Economy under the Russian Government. The organizers
plan to inform a broad range of the stakeholders of the final stage of the electricity
reform, the sector's post-reform structure, and the principles of its operation.
Among the attendees are representatives of energy companies and
industry entities – top managers of both generation, distribution, retail and
engineering companies, both controlled by RAO "UES of Russia" and independent
entities, as well as members of the academic and educational/training institutions.
Upon completion of the seminar, the attendees will prepare reports on
issues related to their companies' core operations. The lectures given by senior managers
will become the basis for a multimedia training course on the energy sector reform and
restructuring.
